We're looking for a Store Manager to take full ownership of the store: running it day to day, keeping it stocked and beautiful, managing ordering and inventory, and growing sales. You'll meet with the owner once a week to review the numbers and plan ahead, and otherwise run the store independently.

Run checkout and keep our Toast point-of-sale accurate
Manage hot chicken dinner orders and pickups
Pack and ship online orders

Order from outside vendors and keep always-in-stock items on the shelf
Receive flowers, produce, and products from the farm and kitchen, and request what the store needs
Keep pricing, product listings, and costs accurate in Toast
Track waste and shrink, and pull tired product
Merchandising & Sales
Keep shelves, the cooler, and the prepared foods case full, fresh, and beautiful
Refresh displays and signage as the seasons change
Help grow sales through social posts, promotions, and local partnerships
Prepared Foods
Coordinate with the kitchen on daily prepared foods and frozen meals
Keep food safety practices, labeling, and temperature logs in order
Weekly Review
Meet with the owner once a week to review sales, margins, inventory, staffing, and what's coming up
Bring ideas for new products, displays, and ways to grow the store

Organized, independent, and a natural problem-solver
Warm and outgoing with customers, with an eye for presentation

Ability to lift 40 lbs
Driver's license and reliable transportation
Love of good food and beautiful flowers
Compensation
$28/hr, depending on experience
